Addressing legal issues is stressful anytime in one’s life, and especially in the early stages of recovery. In an effort to provide support and guidance in all aspects of our client’s lives, the Lakehouse Recovery Center takes pride in working hand-in-hand with attorneys and/or their law firms, in and out of state, to provide the legal support and compliance with the court, meeting, if need be, Prop 36 guidelines.
Upon commencement of care, the Lakehouse Recovery Center offers letters of commitment stating that the client has voluntarily entered our comprehensive substance abuse treatment program, licensed with the California Department of Healthcare Services for a period of 28 days (or more, if needed), that he or she has agreed to comply with the rules and regulations; treatment provides access to individual and group therapy, relapse preventions counseling, recovery workshops, process groups and daily AA or NA meetings. The letter will also reaffirm that the residency program offers 24/7 supervision, regular and random drug and alcohol testing as well as life skills training and goal setting.
Attorneys appreciate that the Court looks favorably upon these commitment letters which are often a factoring difference between jail time and probation.
LRC offers transportation to and from scheduled DUI appointments or to, when indicated, probation officers.
