Having a positive attitude can change your whole day and help you lead a happier life. Being positive all the time isn’t all that easy for everyone, especially when dealing with tough situations such as a divorce, loss, or addiction. No matter what your situation is, making a shift in your attitude and outlook on life can go a long way. There is no correct way to make this shift happen. Each individual is unique and different methods are going to work for different people. You have to find what works for you. Here are a few ways to approach your day in a more positive way.

- Believe it or not, the color of your clothing can affect your mood. What you’re wearing sometimes reflects your mood. Try to wear a color as opposed to neutrals to start your day on a happy note.

- Positivity isn’t always thrown our way. Sometimes we have to do a little work to see the positives. Try subscribing to social media pages that inspire you so you have a source of positivity that you can always fall back on when you’re feeling blue.
Surround yourself with positive people
- There is a saying that goes “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” What this means is that the people you are constantly around have an impact on your and your life. Take a look at the people you hang around most and ask yourself if they are a positive influence on you.
